Today is my first prenatal appointment and I'm super excited! I told Christian again today about the appointment and he asked if the doctors have babies and if the doctor is going to let me choose which one I want (boy or girl). It was so cute!! He went on to say that he was going to tell all his friends that I'm going to have a baby. Such a proud big brother! He did not want to stay at school today and I feel terrible because I'm sure it's because he wanted to go to the doctor with me as well.
I cannot stop obsessing about baby gender. I need to pray about it and just patiently wait for God's big reveal when He decides we should find out. I've always wanted a little girl and I would love to experience it all, but if another lil man is in my future I accept God's master plan that never fails. I won't be sad if we have another boy just sad for the girl we may not have. God knows my deepest heart's desires and He always come through so I release my doubt and cast it far away!!
Yesterday I had terrible morning sickness! I vomited twice, just felt nauseous and lazy. It lasted almost all day til about 4 and I did make it to work. I'm saving my days to call in for when I feel really bad, but hope that doesn't happen. I don't remember feeling so sick with Christian ever. I had a lil nauseous, but nothing to really complain about.
I'm at my appointment now so I will update after it's done.

Sweet Brother♡
Today I asked Christian where my baby was and he touched my upper tummy and I corrected him and told him baby is actually lower. Next he did the sweetest thing...he hugged my tummy and kissed it. First kiss to my belly and his little brother or sister. Melted my heart for sure!
I'm 7 weeks this week and first appointment and ultrasound cannot come soon enough!! I'm excited and want to hear this little blessing's heartbeat. I actually used my fetal doppler 2 days ago and I'm pretty sure I heard a heartbeat! So exciting! I let Carlos and Christian hear as well.
On a high note I've started working out on my elliptical again! Today was day 2 of 30 minutes. I need it. I've gained about 5 to 6 pounds and it's way too soon! I've also ditched the daily ice cream indulging.

Symptoms at 6 weeks
We'll let me talk about symptoms...Since day 1 my urine has had a different and strong scent despite my generous water intake, also constant trips to the bathroom, 1 day so far of morning sickness, which was not fun (felt dizzy and threw up) and yesterday I felt my favorite skinny jeans too tight :/ My maternity clothes has been found and my stretchy clothes is waiting for me! Lol I'm trying to be good and not overeat. I know very well how that ends...pregnant or not!
So yesterday I volunteered at my first Christian concert experience! Matthew West put on a great show and he seems like such a genuine man of God! I helped greet and hand out KSBJ flyers before and after the show which meant I was able to enjoy most of the show!! Love his message of "do something!" and I'll pass it on every chance I get! Carlos also volunteered, but in a different area. He was helping sell Matthew West's pre-order cds and did a great job with a big smile on his face. Proud wife here for sure!
I met a fellow volunteer who's so young (19) and married with a 2 month old baby girl. We connected and I shared my marriage story of restoration after she shared her marriage is challenging some issues as well. I pray my testimony gives her hope that hers can turn around as well. We exchanged phone numbers and I will be in touch with her. God placed us together yesterday for a reason. Love how God works in mysterious ways! We are to encourage each other so encourage someone today!!
